Glow in the Dark Ashtray
Ahhh! It glows!!
This hand built, ceramic, round ashtray with a single thumb rest really glows in the dark. The glaze is purple but glows teal when charged with a bright light.
Please note: I “supercharged” the glow with a blacklight for the picture. It got so bright I could use it to find the light switch when I was done taking pictures!
The ashtray was made with low-fire clay, bisque fired, glazed with glow-in-the-dark underglaze and black underglaze on the bottom, then fired one more time.
It measures 3.5” across and 1” tall.
The bottom is stamped with my name.
